Box 4 members volunteer their time to provide rehabilitation services for first responders across North Texas, 

24 hours a day

7 days a week

  

First responders are served out of a customized rehab vehicle designated as 896 and a pickup truck designated as 897.

Rehabilitation includes providing firefighters with rehydrating drinks, such as water or Gatorade, snacks, food on long duration incidents, as well as misting fans to beat the summer heat and heaters to take away the chill in winter. 

Portable chairs and awnings are set up to allow fire fighters to rest up and get out of the elements before going back to work.

Without our services, the major fires in Dallas would take a greater toll on our first responders and make it much more difficult to return to service.  

Box 4 resources are available to local first responders by special call throughout the North Texas area.
