Foundation 45

Our Mission: At Foundation 45, we believe in the power of community and creativity. When we can't buy what we need, we'll make it. When we can't find what we're looking for, we'll create it. And when our community can't access the support and services it needs, we come together to provide it.

Our Impact: Since our founding, Foundation 45 has been a lifeline for over 4,000 individuals in our community, providing them with access to FREE mental health support. In a state where access to mental health resources is severely lacking, our work is not just important—it's essential. Your donations help us continue providing quality care to those who might otherwise go without.

Our Services:

Foundation 45 offers multiple weekly general support groups through our Interlude45 program, including:

• General Support Groups: Held weekly and open to all 18+
• Women of Color Support Group
• Remix Recovery: Our Substance Use Group
• LGBTQIA+ Support Group
• Monthly Art Therapy Sessions with Dallas Art Therapy

All our support groups are led by masters-level Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and are completely free for Texas residents aged 18 and older.

Our Needs: Foundation 45 is at a pivotal point in our growth. We've built a strong foundation of services and support but focused on expanding our services to provide support to those that are needing our services.

Broaden Our Reach: We are committed to expanding our services and raising awareness in diverse communities to support more individuals.

Increase Art Therapy Sessions: We currently offer monthly art therapy but aim to provide weekly sessions with your support. These workshops are essential for reducing mental health stigma and making art therapy accessible to everyone.

Introduce New Workshops: We plan to launch both online and in-person workshops on important mental health topics, including depression, anxiety, and finding the right counselor. Additionally, we will offer community workshops on alcohol-free living, music therapy, and yoga.
