Illustrious Angels Youth & Family Services

We provide crisis intervention to children and adolescents in the form of counseling (including play therapy), mentoring, and peer support groups. Included in our sessions we offer life skills training for character development, anger management and coping skills. We partner with family shelters to provide donated items for women and children that are needed for daily living. We also host an annual back to school supply drive to provide school supplies to children affected by domestic or family violence.

In addition, we support the educational goals of graduating seniors that have been affected by domestic violence and provide partial college scholarships to invest in their brighter tomorrow.

We educate the community through various awareness campaigns focusing on ending the cycle of abuse. We host and participate in church, school, or community sponsored events to provide tools and resources that educate on domestic violence, teen dating violence, and healthy relationships.

Our Needs

Illustrious Angels Youth & Family Services is currently in need of funding to support our Dr. Catina L. Murphy Scholarship fund for education and counseling support for victims of domestic and/or family violence.
