While the DSO welcomes  thousands of visitors to the Meyerson each year for its captivating performances, ticket sales alone do not provide the necessary resources to operate a world-class orchestra

We are grateful for the community’s support to ensure the DSO can continue to reach new heights in musical accessibility and achievement.

On May 22, 2025, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra celebrated its 125th anniversary.  As our 125th anniversary season comes to an end, we look back on our rich history of extraordinary performances and life-changing educational programs, and we look forward towards the future of these initiatives that continue to inspire and change lives.

Help us amplify our musical excellence and grow our impact by making a special contribution today in honor of this milestone.

125 Years of Musical Excellence

A cornerstone of the Arts District in downtown Dallas, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra is an irreplaceable, vibrant part of the cultural fabric of the city. The DSO presents more than 150 orchestra concerts each season at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and is committed to inspiring the broadest possible audience with distinctive classical programs, inventive pops concerts and innovative multi-media presentations.

As we celebrate 125 years of extraordinary performances and generous support, we also celebrate you, and the ways we’ve shaped our community together.

125 Years of Community & Education

Whether it’s a first-time concertgoer or a longtime subscriber, the Dallas Symphony is an organization accessible to all people: a place for a night with the family or a special date night; a place for students to belong or adults to learn; a place to celebrate or seek comfort. The DSO is a place for the entire North Texas community.

Programs like DSO Cares, which brings musicians of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra directly to hospitals, senior living facilities, schools for disadvantaged children, and communities throughout the Dallas area, allow the power of music to travel beyond the Meyerson to those who need it most.

The DSO’s programs have removed the barriers to music education and in their place provide access and opportunities to those who would otherwise go without.  Through opportunities like Young Strings and the Kim Noltemy Young Musicians programs, the DSO provides more than musical education experiences: it paves the way for future artists, leaders and world citizens, well-equipped for their future.
