About Tarrant Area Food Bank
Tarrant Area Food Bank envisions a community where everyone has access to the food they need. Throughout our 13-county service area, TAFB provides more than 1,000,000 meals each week to families, children, and seniors facing hunger. Rising costs leave many unsure of their next meal, but thanks to the support of compassionate volunteers, over 450 partner agencies, and strong community partnerships, TAFB continues to meet this critical need.
To further meet the need of our community's most vulnerable population, TAFB's Ready to Learn® initiative will ensure that every child has access to the most important school supply - food.
Give Kids Joy this Holiday Season by Supporting Tarrant Area Food Bank's Ready to Learn® Initiative
This holiday season, we hope you will support TAFB's Ready to Learn® Initiative and the expansion of in-school markets across our 13-county service area. In addition to increasing the number of in-school markets, TAFB will be working to open our Ready to Learn® Resource Center. The center will include a mission market for families to grocery shop at no cost to them, several educational programs for children, a learning garden and more.
Hunger impacts children’s health, behavior, and learning, but your commitment ensures they can thrive and arrive at school ready to learn.
